"Week Of"
You have heard the term "Day Of" by now and might be wondering just what it entails. For the bride who wants to hire her own vendors and take full charge of her wedding planning, this is perfect. We have taken Day of services and gone a step further making them "week of" services. We begin our intense preparations for your wedding the Monday prior to your special day and your wishes and needs become our first priority.
When you have chosen your vendors, colors, themes etc. It is time to hire a "Day Of" coordinator. We will review your wedding details and make suggestions as to what you may have over looked, or present some new ideas that you might like to incorporate into the details you have already planned.
Unlike other wedding planners, we do not restrict contact with our brides or limit phone calls. Advice and moral support are an unlimited part of the package. You can rest assured that we are here for you.
Our "Week Of" includes extensive discussion with the Bride, a coordinator conducting your rehearsal and directing all family members and attendants to your carefully decided ceremony plans. We will make sure that everyone feels comfortable and secure in knowing where they are supposed to be and when they are supposed to be there.
We will give everyone their cues on the day of your wedding as well so that your ceremony is flawless. We will let the ushers know where the guests are to be seated, also which order the grandparents and parents of the bride and groom are to be escorted to their seats. The Groom and Groomsmen will be queued into their proper places. Musicians will be informed of when to play and which songs. Each bridesmaid will be signaled when to step down the aisle, as well as an groomsmen, flower girls and ring bearers. Finally the Bride and her father (or other escort) will make their grand entrance and will know exactly what to expect for the entire ceremony. We will help you plan the processional, recessional, ceremony, and even help with Military traditions and ceremonies. We will help with putting out necessary items, such as candles, make sure the men have their ties tied and their boutonnieres in place, make sure the ladies have their bouquets, lay down your aisle runner, place your programs or program fans on the seats, even put out a display of bottled water for your guests if you arrange for it.
On to the reception... for a "Week Of" service, we also take care of your reception coordination. All of your vendors will receive an email prior to the wedding with the timeline we have planned out. (don't worry, we know when to deviate from the schedule) We will make sure that all of the vendors are aware of your wishes and that they are carried out. Tables will be arranged, set, and decorated as you chose in the planning stages, cloth napkins will be folded, favors placed on tables, gift table set up (with your choice of gift card box). We tell caterers when to start pouring for the champagne toast, DJ's when to announce each event, We keep to a timeline of introductions, cake cutting, toasts, special dances, garter and bouquet toss and any other special moments that you would like incorporated into your wedding reception. We take time making sure nothing was left behind, all of your personal effects are taken with us, and we will even return your unused liquor (provided this is an option, and you use the vendor most convenient for us).
Unlike other wedding planners, we will even stay for the duration of the ceremony and reception and leave when the last guest leaves to be sure we are there if needed. This is your special day and you deserve our undivided attention!
